Duplicate Page Plugin for WordPress < 3.4 SQL Injection

medium Web App Scanning Plugin ID 98536

Synopsis

Duplicate Page Plugin for WordPress < 3.4 SQL Injection

Description

The WordPress Duplicate Page Plugin installed on the remote host is affected by a SQL injection vulnerability due to improper sanitization of user-supplied input passed via the 'post' parameter for dt_duplicate_post_as_draft 'action' parameter. A remote attacker can exploit this issue to manipulate SQL queries, resulting in the disclosure of sensitive information and modification of data.

Note that the scanner has not tested for these issues but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.

Solution

Upgrade to Duplicate Page Plugin for WordPress 3.4 or latest.
