Seasoned Security Expert Jack Daniel Joins Tenable Network Security

Tenable Network Security, Inc., the leader in Unified Security Monitoring (USM) and creator of the widely-used, award-winning enterprise SecurityCenter and Nessus^® vulnerability scanner, has added veteran IT security expert Jack Daniel to its product management team. Daniel—well known in the industry for co-founding the influential Security B-Sides community—will help further develop Tenable’s enterprise-class security solution, making it faster and easier for businesses to identify and eliminate threats and vulnerabilities and achieve compliance requirements.

In addition to Gula, Daniel joins an all-star cast of security pros at Tenable Network Security including CSO Marcus Ranum, and CRO Renaud Deraison – the father of Tenable’s Nessus vulnerability scanner, and Paul Asadoorian, Tenable Product Evangelist.

Daniel brings more than 20 years of IT security expertise to Tenable Network Security. In addition to his position at Tenable, Daniel is Director of the National Information Security Group (NAISG), a non-profit organization focused on promoting IT security awareness. Before joining the company , he served as Community Development Manager at Astaro AG, a Sophos company, where he grew Astaro’s partner and customer, and IT and security communities.
