Description

The remote CentOS Linux 7 host has packages installed that are affected by a vulnerability as referenced in the RHSA-2020:1003 advisory.

- mod_auth_mellon through 0.14.2 has an Open Redirect via the login?ReturnTo= substring, as demonstrated by omitting the // after http: in the target URL. (CVE-2019-13038)

Note that Nessus has not tested for this issue but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.

Solution

Update the affected mod_auth_mellon and / or mod_auth_mellon-diagnostics packages.
