Description

The remote Fedora 32 host has a package installed that is affected by a vulnerability as referenced in the FEDORA-2021-edc673e864 advisory.

- Kramdown before 2.3.1 does not restrict Rouge formatters to the Rouge::Formatters namespace, and thus arbitrary classes can be instantiated. (CVE-2021-28834)

Note that Nessus has not tested for this issue but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.

Solution

Update the affected rubygem-kramdown package.
