The remote SUSE host is missing a security update.

Description

The remote SUSE Linux SLED15 / SLES15 host has packages installed that are affected by a vulnerability as referenced in the SUSE-SU-2021:3488-1 advisory.

- Go before 1.16.9 and 1.17.x before 1.17.2 has a Buffer Overflow via large arguments in a function invocation from a WASM module, when GOARCH=wasm GOOS=js is used. (CVE-2021-38297)

Note that Nessus has not tested for this issue but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.

Solution

Update the affected go1.17, go1.17-doc and / or go1.17-race packages.
