Description

The version of GitLab installed on the remote host is affected by a vulnerability, as follows:

- Serialization of sensitive data in GitLab EE affecting all versions from 14.9 prior to 15.2.5, 15.3 prior to 15.3.4, and 15.4 prior to 15.4.1 can leak sensitive information via cache (CVE-2022-3291)

Note that Nessus has not tested for this issue but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.

Solution

Upgrade to GitLab version 15.2.5, 15.3.4, 15.4.1 or later.
