Synopsis

The remote Ubuntu host is missing a security update.

Description

The remote Ubuntu 20.04 LTS / 22.04 LTS / 23.04 host has a package installed that is affected by a vulnerability as referenced in the USN-6073-7 advisory.

 USN-6073-2 fixed a vulnerability in Glance_store. Unfortunately the update introduced a regression with detaching volumes. The security fix has been removed pending further investigation.

Solution

Update the affected python3-glance-store package.
