Synopsis

The remote CBL Mariner host is missing one or more security updates.

Description

The version of openldap installed on the remote CBL Mariner 2.0 host is prior to tested version. It is, therefore, affected by a vulnerability as referenced in the CVE-2023-2953 advisory.

 - A vulnerability was found in openldap. This security flaw causes a null pointer dereference in ber_memalloc_x() function. (CVE-2023-2953)

Note that Nessus has not tested for this issue but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.

Solution

Update the affected packages.
