Synopsis

An application installed on the remote Windows host is affected by multiple vulnerabilities.

Description

The version of Golang running on the remote host is 1.24 prior to 1.24rc2. It is, therefore, is affected by multiple vulnerabilities:

- net/http: Sensitive headers are incorrectly sent after cross-domain redirect (CVE-2024-45336)

- cmd/go: GOAUTH credential leak due to improper domain segmentation. (CVE-2024-45340)

- crypto/x509: usage of IPv6 zone IDs can bypass URI name constraints (CVE-2024-45341)

- crypto/x509: ParsePKCS1PrivateKey panic with partial keys (CVE-2025-22865)

Note that Nessus has not tested for these issues but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.

Solution

Upgrade to Golang Go version 1.24rc2 or later.
