Synopsis

The remote SUSE host is missing a security update.

Description

The remote SUSE Linux SLES15 / SLES_SAP15 / openSUSE 15 host has packages installed that are affected by a vulnerability as referenced in the SUSE-SU-2025:0751-1 advisory.

 - CVE-2024-43591: improper neutralization of special elements could allow users to run Azure CLI commands that result in certain service management operations being performed with System level permissions in Azure Defender for Cloud (bsc#1231971).

Solution

Update the affected azure-cli and / or azure-cli-test packages.
