Synopsis

The remote web application's authentication can be bypassed.

Description

The installed version of Basic Analysis and Security Engine (BASE) on the remote host is affected by an authentication bypass vulnerability. By sending a specially crafted cookie, it may be possible to bypass authentication and gain access to the application.

Solution

Upgrade to BASE version 1.2.5 as that reportedly addresses the issue.
