Solution Overview
NIS2 Compliance with Tenable OT Security for Operational Environments
European national security depends on the reliability and continuous operations of each nation's critical infrastructure. The increasing complexity and connectivity of operational environments can expose them to cyber threats which put their safety and reliability at risk.
In 2016, the European Parliament enacted the EU Directive for Network and Information Systems (NIS), with the objective of enabling European Union (EU) countries to secure against and respond to cyberattacks. When introduced, it encompassed operators of essential services intending to strengthen cybersecurity resilience in EU members' critical industries. While somewhat effective, NIS was seen to have limitations, particularly the scope of organizations covered. In January 2023, the EU adopted a new version of the Directive known as NIS2.
Tenable OT Security brings visibility, security, and control to industrial environments, critical infrastructure, building management systems, and more, helping organizations maintain productivity and stay safe from cyber attacks.
