The remote SUSE host is missing a security update.

Description

The remote SUSE Linux SLED15 / SLED_SAP15 / SLES15 / SLES_SAP15 / openSUSE 15 host has packages installed that are affected by a vulnerability as referenced in the SUSE-SU-2024:3523-1 advisory.

- cups-browsed would bind on UDP INADDR_ANY:631 and trust any packet from any source to trigger a Get-Printer-Attributes IPP request to an attacker controlled URL. This patch removes support for the legacy CUPS and LDAP protocols(bsc#1230939, CVE-2024-47176)

Solution

Update the affected cups-filters and / or cups-filters-devel packages.
