Leading Analyst Report Gives Tenable “Strong Positive” Recognizing the Company’s Vulnerability Management Solutions
Tenable Network Security, the leader in real-time vulnerability management, today announced that it has again achieved a ranking of “strong positive” - the highest rating a company can receive - in Gartner’s 2013 MarketScope Vulnerability Assessment report.
“Our researchers and engineers are consistently improving product capabilities and the overall effectiveness of our solutions,” said Ron Gula, CEO/CTO at Tenable Network Security. “We believe to be recognized with such a high rating validates our commitment to supplying customers with the best solutions to consistently and effectively protect the enterprise from threats.”
The report comes out as the company continues improving their portfolio of products, introducing a number of key products in the last year, focusing on continuous monitoring and vulnerability management for mobile, cloud and virtual infrastructures. Specifically, Tenable added Passive Vulnerability Scanner (PVS) to the Nessus family of products to help CTOs monitor their networks in real-time, in a non-intrusive manner. Additionally, the company also introduced SecurityCenter CV, the only integrated security and compliance platform that delivers an app store of real time analytics, including dashboard and reports for vulnerability management and compliance monitoring.
Vulnerability management is a cornerstone of IT security and has become a regulatory compliance standard today. Over the last few years vulnerability management has risen in priority as confirmed by the first four controls in the SANS 20 Critical Security Controls.
