The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) adopted new cybersecurity rules in July 2023 requiring publicly traded companies in the United States to submit a variety of disclosures regarding their cybersecurity and risk management processes, board oversight and material cyber incidents. The reports will be due on a yearly basis beginning with annual reports for fiscal years ending on or after Dec. 15, 2023.
