Complying with National Bank of Cambodia Technology Risk Management (TRM) Guidelines

The National Bank of Cambodia’s (NBC) Technology Risk Management (TRM) Guidelines, published in July 2019, is designed to enhance the security, safety, and efficiency of BFIs’ business operations, which will benefit BFIs and their customers by reducing their risk due to cyber threats.

The guidelines are intended to be dynamic in that BFIs are encouraged to pro-actively modify their policies, procedures and implementations to cater to the ever-changing technical landscape. The NBC has begun monitoring how effective these guidelines are since they were published.
