Course Description

This fast-paced Tenable Security Center Expert Course will build on previous instruction to advance your usage of Tenable's end-to-end vulnerability management solution in various on-premises enterprise IT environments. Content for the instructor-led course includes deploying Tenable Security Center in large and extremely large-scale environments, tuning Tenable Security Center for maximum performance, using the Tenable Security Center API with pyTenable, and importing Tenable Security Center data into Tenable Lumin for Cyber Exposure risk analysis.

Audience

This course is suited for practitioners with 2-3 years of experience using Tenable Security Center, who want to expand their knowledge of best practices and maximize the solution’s capabilities. It is recommended for those seeking to obtain Tenable Security Center Expert Certification.

Prerequisites

Tenable highly recommends that all participants complete the instructor-led Tenable Security Center Specialist Course from Tenable University before attending this course. Some knowledge and experience with Python is also recommended.

CPE/CEU credits

Tenable cannot award CPE credits toward industry certifications as these credits are determined by the certification body (e.g., ISC2, SANS, PCI Council, etc.). Upon completion of a Tenable Instructor-led course, you will receive a Certificate of Attendance which, in most cases, is accepted by the certification body for awarding CPE credit. However, Tenable is an approved training provider towards CompTIA's Security+ certification. Upon receiving one of the approved Tenable Product Certifications, individuals with an active CompTIA Security+ certification can apply for CEUs toward their certification maintenance.

See https://www.certmetrics.com/comptia to apply and upload the required documentation to your CompTIA account. Credit is granted at CompTIA's discretion.
